Description:
Charles Morton was apprenticed to Thomas Parr, the trainer of a wonderful horse called Fisherman, who won 70 races including 2 Ascot Gold Cups. Charles Morton carried on the old fashioned methods of his master when becoming a trainer himself, and personally supervised the smallest details in his yard. He was private trainer to Jack Joel for 25 years, being the Champion in 1908, and winning 12 Classics.
