Dates & jockeys of important wins:

Derby
1921  Stephen Donoghue

Description:

The winner of 4 races at 2 and 3 years, Humorist's connections could not understand why the horse was up one day and down the next. In spite of this the horse ran the bravest of Derbys, prevailing by a neck from the 2000 Guineas winner Craig an Eran. A few weeks later the cause of the horse's delicate health was discovered. He died in his box following a massive haemorrhage of the lungs.

The photograph shows a rather 'tucked-up' horse.
