Description:
An Englishman, Jack Rogers (as he was universally known), was a good amateur rider in his younger days and started training at Cheltenham. However, he settled at the Curragh in Ireland in 1915 and until retirement in 1937 he sent out the winners of eleven Irish Classics, including Museum and Phideas, both winners of the Irish Derby.
Jack Rogers' hobby was farming, but he lived for his horses.
