Dates & jockeys of important wins:

Oaks
1924  Francis O'Neill

Description:

Winner of 11 races at two and three years, including the Oaks, and third in the 1000 Guineas, the lop-eared Sraitlace cost Sir Edward Hulton 17,000 guineas as a yearling, being out of a prolific mare and a fine looker herself. This daughter of Son-in-Law, and his only English Classic winner, was bought by Edmund Esmond and sent to France a year after her Oaks success. She bred some good winners there, including Lovelace II (runner-up in the French Derby). Another of her sons Interlace was sire of Foinavon, the 100/1 winner of the 1967 Grand National.
