Description:
Thomas Hogg first started training in 1911 and after world war 1 had a stable at Ogborne and later at Russley Park, sending out Happy Man to win the Ascot Gold Cup. In 1928 he became private trainer to Lord Glanely for whom he prepared four Classic winners. Thomas Hogg was the founder member and the first captain of the Avenue Bowls Club in Newmarket.
