Wragg, Samuel (1909 - )

Description:

Samuel Wragg was apprenticed to Robert Colling at Newmarket, and although Turf history does not show him as being on a par with his older brother Harry, he had his tally of big race wins including three English Classics. He retired in 1953 and became a publican, but soon resumed riding work in Lambourn.
