Description:

Hugh Nickalls was the sone of Tom Nickalls, one time master of the Surrey Stag Hounds and a member of the Stock Exchange. The best horse bred and kept throughout his racing and stud life was Eton Boy, winner of the Royal Hunt Cup in 1912, and at two and three years, Noble Star ran in his colours. Another of his breeding Spanish Prince won the King George V Stakes, Goodwood and the Victoria Cup at Hurst Park for his owner Jack Joel.
