Dates & jockeys of important wins:

2000 Guineas
1927  John Leach

Description:

Adam's Apple was a good-looking colt and a decent two-year-old. Nevertheless he started in the 2000 Guineas at 20/1 and won narrowly from the favourite Call Boy (who would go on to win the Derby) and Hot Night, who had run too free for his own good.

Come Derby Day, Adam's Apple - who had suffered from dental trouble - was expected to run well by his owner, but did not stay the distance. After two more starts he was found to be wrong in the wind and was sold for a five figure sum to Australia for stud.
