Description:
Before training horses, Colonel McCabe had already been a racing cyclist, cross country runner and Doctor of Medicine! His association with owner/breeder Richard Croker and Orby was a brief one, after which he set up in Newmarket at Queensbury Lodge, where he had a hand in the preparation of Signorinetta who won the Derby in 1908.
