Description:

Son of a Suffolk clothier and close friend of the race horse owner and breeder Sir Abe Bailey, Donald Fraser owned the Tickford Park Stud in Buckinghamshire and stood famous sires there, including Dark Ronald and Son-in-Law. As a breeder he was responsible for horses such as Handicapper (2000 Guineas), Foxlaw (Ascot Gold Cup)Play On (Lincolnshire Handicap and a top winner in India), Brown Prince (Jockey Club Stakes), Ambassador (July Stakes) and Mickey the Greek (July Stakes, Nunthorpe Stakes and King's Stand Stakes).
