Brennan, John Joseph (1896 - 1969)

Description:

As a jockey, John Brennan was placed in eight Classics but won just one, the 2000 Guineas on Craig an Eran in 1921. He was a lightweight jockey, riding for Alec Taylor and his successor Joe Lawson at Manton. He could still weigh out at 7st 11 when he was forty. He gave up riding after the Second World War.
