Description:

Tiffin was an unbeaten filly, winning 8 races, 5 of them as a two year old when she was the champion of her generation. She was also the Champion three year old filly of 1929 and won the July Cup after an epic dual with the 2000 Guineas runner-up Royal Minstrel, who dwarfed her in size.

Tiffin was a playful little filly and it proved her undoing when she got loose and slipped up on the road, fracturing her knee. This ended her career on the racetrack. At stud she bred one foal only; she died of peritonitis shortly afterwards.
