Description:

The 2000 Guineas winner Craig An Eran was the maternal grandson of that great mare Sceptre and own brother to the Oaks winner Sunny Jane. The colt also went down by a neck in the Derby of 1921 when his jockey was outridden by Stephen Donoghue. As a sire, he is remembered for his Derby winning son, April the Fifth.
