Description:

A good-looking colt, on the small side but powerful, Colorado won 9 races from 2 to 4 years and took third place to the free-running Coronach in the Derby. However he beat that colt on three other occasions, including by 8 lengths at Newmarket.

He died after only two seasons at stud, leaving behind some good offspring including the grand stayer Felicitation and the sprinters Coroado and Figaro.
