Description:

Bona Vista, the 2000 Guineas winner of 1892, was the half brother to Sir Visto who took the Derby of 1895 for the 5th Earl of Rosebery.

Remembered chiefly in this country for siring Cyllene, he was highly successful as a stallion at the Hungarian National Stud at Kisber, where he was Champion Sire five times.
